Some mothers decide to go on individual therapy after having attended the mother groups. Some others prefer to see a psychologist on a one-to-one basis. Yet others are very short of time/babysitting but still need help. Individual sessions for short-term or longer term psychoanalytic psychotherapy or psychodynamic counselling can help a mother find her balance. Sometimes mothers just need to be heard by a professional and unbiased person in order to make sense of the stressful parts of their experience with motherhood. Whatever the case, help can be provided either through skype or in-person sessions.
