MOTHERHOOD PSYCHOLOGY GROUPS

Deconstructing Mummy are professionally led psychology groups for new mothers, mothers-to-be and women thinking about becoming mothers. Groups meet for 8 sessions. The groups are led by Marianna Sidiropoulou, HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and a mother herself.
The groups aim to help new mothers understand their role and ease them through this exciting yet sometimes difficult journey.

Themes explored are:

DIFFICULT FEELINGS OF THE MOTHER

RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR MOTHERS

SEXUALITY AND THE BODY (Breasfeeding, Weight)

THE NEW SELF (Differences, Aspirations, Work)
